All you have to do to stream is enter your username and password to your streaming provider. Stream to one or more locations simultaneously, including Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Twitch, Church and many others. Wirecast 7 does not limit where you can stream. Add that to the ability to bring in real-time data directly from a scoreboard to an overlaid scoreboard and you’re ready to live stream any sporting event.

Wirecast 7 features dynamic editing of any and all sources, with the capability to resize, crop, position, flip or rotate. Wirecast allows you to capture from a camera, microphone, webcam, IP camera, a capture card, your computer screen, pre-made videos, images and more. You can use an iPhone 4S or newer as a wireless camera input source and it can even pull live Twitter feeds into the broadcast. While only using your computer running Wirecast, you can switch between an unlimited number of input sources.
You can even add transitions and fades when going between sources. It can switch between any captured sources in real time.

A fresh install of Wirecast 6 on our Macbook Pro was completely uneventful. In fact, we first started using Wirecast 6 before 7 was released. We must note that not a month later Facebook opened up their API to run with any program with RTMP protocol. A Zoom Assistant (ZA) is recommended to handle this for you, if you are the host in Zoom.After meeting with Telestream, Wirecast showed itself to be a promising solution as the only switching software compatible with Facebook Live. Professionally “produce” your Zoom session from Wirecast. Now whatever you “go live” with in Wirecast will be in your Zoom camera.ģ. In Zoom, select the Wirecast virtual camera as your camera. Make sure all the graphics, titles, cameras, images, and sound clips you need are loaded.Ģ. Launch Wirecast (or your live video production and virtual camera app) and start your virtual camera output. With Wirecast, you can add graphics, lower thirds, and mix more than one camera. This will help you mix your output that feeds into your Zoom call. Wirecast and Zoom User, Richard Zultner recently posted a great guide and video to brining Wirecast into Zoom. But, if you are looking to create a professional looking stream or conference with Zoom, you might want to consider a multi-camera solution. Zoom has been a valuable tool to keep communication during social distancing.
